Growing the Village: Music, New Faces & a Dome Dream at Soul Graffiti

Something is taking root at Soul Graffiti Productions. Through music, gatherings, and the everyday practice of showing up for one another, we’re working toward a collective that creates art and healing vibes for the world—starting with ourselves.

That last part matters. We want to practice the care we hope to inspire: listening closely, making room for honest expression, and supporting each other through both the beautiful moments and the messy ones. Sometimes that looks like a song. Sometimes it looks like a conversation after the show. Sometimes it means rolling up our sleeves together.

Music that brings us together

Honey of the Heart—Justin Ancheta and Maren Metke—continues to bring rich harmonies, rhythm, and original songs into spaces where people can move, listen, and connect. Their music draws from folk, soul, roots, and world/flamenco influences, with room for intimate moments and full-bodied celebration.

This fall, we invite you to spend an evening with Honey of the Heart and fellow roster artist Adrienne Shamszad at The Hearth on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 5–8 p.m. The private address is provided upon registration. Come settle into an evening of live music and connection in the Sierra foothills.

Adrienne also has an upcoming appearance at The Freight in Berkeley on October 25, 2026, at 7 p.m. Visit her calendar for the latest details.

Our artist roster also includes Damian Sol, Strike Iron, and Tiny Home, bringing a range of musical voices into the Soul Graffiti community. We invite you to explore their work and connect with us about bringing live music to your own gathering. (High)

A new chapter at Soul Graffiti Remote—The Hearth

We’re celebrating an exciting milestone: The Hearth Initiative has received fiscal sponsorship through Fractured Atlas. This is a meaningful step toward funding the next chapter of our community arts work at Soul Graffiti Remote, also known as The Hearth.

At the center of that vision is a new dome structure for events—a welcoming space where music, empathy, movement, and somatic awareness can come together throughout the seasons. We envision concerts, creative workshops, deep listening gatherings, and opportunities to reconnect with ourselves, each other, and the land.

Our broader fundraising goal is $60,000 toward the dome, a community sauna, and supporting infrastructure. These spaces are intended to support an ongoing life of gatherings and creative practice at The Hearth.

We welcome conversations with people who would like to contribute funds, materials, building skills, time, or creative energy. If this vision speaks to you, reach out to learnabout the campaign and ways to participate. email: info@honeyoftheheart.com to get involved or donate.

Welcome, Josiah and Sunny

We’re happy to welcome Josiah and Sunny to the Soul Graffiti team. Thank you both for stepping into this growing circle.

As we move forward, we want to make room for each person’s gifts while building relationships that can sustain the work. There are stages to prepare, songs to share, ideas to explore, and plenty of opportunities to learn from one another.

An invitation to create with us

We’re calling in a collective of musicians, artists, facilitators, sound engineers, organizers, builders, and caring people who want to help create something meaningful.

Our desire is to make art that inspires others and gatherings where people feel welcome to participate. We want the way we work together to carry the same care as the experiences we offer.

That begins with ourselves: taking time to listen, tending our relationships, allowing creativity to move through us, and remembering that we have something to offer even while we’re still learning.

Come to a show. Bring an idea. Help build the dome. Share your skills. Let’s see what we can create together.
